Moving on from the theology of Hebrews, the writer begins the practical section of the book with a discussion of fathers; earthly fathers and how we responded to them, the ways that God is a better father, and how we can emulated our heavenly father on earth.

Things that Shouldn’t Surprise the Christian

It is easy to get discouraged about “the way the world is going”. Things like: how people perceive morality, truth, and politics, and how we talk about these things. However, the writers of the New Testament had a lot to say about what Christians should expect to face.
