The latter half of Acts centers on Paul’s mission work and eventual arrest and journey to Rome. I hope these maps will help you keep the flow of the story in your mind as you read.

One of the ways to think about the book of Hebrews is an exchange of better things between us and God. He gives us many better things through Christ, and he in turn deserves a better response from us than he received in the Old Testament.

This was by far one of the most difficult charts/timelines to put together in our journey through the Bible this year. The Babylonian exile and eventual return serves as the backdrop for many Old Testament books. I hope this can give you a clearer overall picture of this momentous period of Biblical history.

As we enter into a new section of Israelite history in our journey through the Bible, I thought it might be helpful to have provide a map and a timeline of the Divided Kingdom. Next week I will provide several timelines connected to the prophets of Israel.

I post this every year around Easter as people are thinking about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, with minor revisions and updates (this year some more-than-minor revisions). I hope this is helpful to you in some small way as you more deeply consider the resurrection of our Lord.

In our read through the Bible, we have arrived in the books of Samuel. 1-2 Samuel covers the united kingdom from the end of the era of the judges to the tail end of David’s reign, and mostly focuses on the struggles for power between Saul and David, and David and Absalom. I hope this is helpful for your study!

As we transition into a new phase of the story in our journey through the Bible in 2025, it might be helpful to be able to visualize the land of Israel. Here is an overview chart for Deuteronomy, as well as a map of the land allotment for the Israelites given to them by Joshua.

This year at the Dewey Church of Christ we are embarking on a journey through the Bible together. I have put together a reading plan for the year, and the sermons through the year will line up with the reading. Here is the reading plan and sermon schedule:
Additionally, I will be putting together some charts throughout the year to go along with the reading. I hope that these can be useful for you as we seek to understand the story of the Bible together!
Here are the pdfs for the first three charts:

To accompany our study of Ezekiel, I have revised and updated my timeline of the most prominent Israelite prophets. I hope this can be helpful for your study of the Old Testament!

To accompany our sermon series on Ezekiel, I have composed a chronological and thematic chart of the book. I hope this will be helpful in your study of Ezekiel!
