We have talked a lot about who Jesus was, but we also need to consider who Jesus is. That is to say, what is Jesus doing right now, as you read this? What is his current identity and work? And how should we be thinking about Jesus, our Savior in the present tense?

Having just finished a series on “Developing an Identity in Christ”, we transition to thinking about Christ – who was he? Who is he? Like anyone else, the identity of Jesus is composed of many different facets. We will begin with the most basic part of the identity of Jesus – his Jewishness.
